Olive FrvrOn V-G2300 was introduced by the Indian company, Olive Telecommunication that announced Zipbooks last year. The cellphone was presented as the “India’s first dual powered mobile phone compatible with any AAA battery”. The Olive V-G2300 specifications include: a 1.5 inch CSTN display with 128×128 pixels screen resolution, FM radio, polyphonic ringtones, speakerphone, preloaded games and a stereo headset. This is just a low-end phone, but you can use an AAA battery to power the cellphone certainly makes it special.

Nokia N97 Mini Oakley Edition was the new upcoming limited edition of Nokia N97 Mini phone which were then given to Oakley-sponsored athletes. These phones exclusively have the Oakley Thunderbird (a logo created specially for the Olympics) laser-etched on their backs. The Nokia N97 mini Oakley edition only differs from the original Nokia N97 mini by the preloaded content. Nokia collaborated with Oakley to produce the phone only for 200 units.

The Asus DR-900 is the new Ebook reader manufactured by ASUS, the maker of the original netbook. It’s the first 9-inch e-reader device with very typical specs for an e-book reader. With Wi-Fi connectivity augmented with a 3G option, and a battery life rated to last a pretty radical 10,000 pages on a single charge. It supports PDF, ePUB, TXT and MP3 files. There is also 4GB of integrated storage, and 3.5mm headphone jack.

Samsung SCH-W890 clamshell phone will soon be made by Samsung for SK Telecom official. The handset isn’t that exciting except for the fact that it has support for both satellite and terrestrial DMBs for South Korean mobile TV viewers. Some of the SCH-W890 features will include: a 2.8-inch 16M TFT display screen (WQVGA), Bluetooth, Text-to-speech, 2MP camera, front facing camera for video conferencing, SOS and Subway Maps.

Hivision SpeedPad is an Android-based MID (Mobile Internet Device) that has specs a 7-inch WVGA resistive touchscreen, 3G connectivity, a Samsung 6410 800MHz with DSP processor, 256MB DDR2 RAM, WiFi (802.11b/g), Bluetooth, GPS, and 4200mAh battery that can give power of up to 6 hours. Based on the model displayed at CeBIT 2010, the Hivision SpeedPad runs on Android 1.6. It’s still not clear though if its OS will be upgraded to Android 2.1 when it’s finally ready to be released in the market.
There is still not known the exact price of Hivision SpeedPad and the availability info, but a source write that it will be priced at $100.
